Local Delivery and Installation

If you live within 35 miles of a Grand location, you qualify for delivery and installation by the pros at Grand or an installer from our network of certified installers. Whether you want us to hook up your new washer/dryer pair or install a custom home theater in the basement, our professionally trained crews can get the job done right the first time. In addition, our crews will take the time and care necessary to complete the job with the utmost respect for your home, business or job site.

Delivery and Installation by Grand: We want to make accepting a delivery as easy on you as possible. So, we deliver six days a week in most markets and can typically deliver in-stock merchandise within two days of placing an order. In addition, we’ll call you the day before your delivery and provide a three hour delivery window. On the day of your delivery, our delivery drivers will contact you 30 minutes before arrival so you can meet the drivers on-site if need you need to be away from home during any portion of your delivery window.

Delivery and Installation by a Grand-Certified Installer: Installation by a certified installer is available five days a week in most markets and installations of in stock merchandise can typically be completed within one-week of placing an order. When you place an order for a product that requires installation by a certified installer, your salesperson will contact the installer to start the scheduling process. If the installer is unable to schedule a firm appointment at that time, the installer will contact you within 24 hours of placing the order to schedule an appointment. As with Grand delivery, the installer will contact you the night before the installation to confirm the appointment and will also contact you a half hour before arriving for the installation.

Fees: Our standard delivery fee is $24.95; however we waive that fee on any purchase of $399 or more (restrictions apply, call for more information). A $15 fuel surcharge is applied to any Grand delivery regardless of the purchase price. Installation fees vary. Call for more information.

A Note About Grand-Certified Installers: Grand performs the vast majority of its installations; however more specialized installations will be performed by a Grand-Certified installer. All certified installers go through a stringent screening process to ensure they will be able to provide the same commitment to quality and customer service that our customers expect of us. In addition, our screening process ensures that each certified installer is fully insured and licensed to perform the work for which they were sub-contracted to perform.

 

Grand uses certified installers because the jobs for which they’re used require of expertise and precision and in those cases, take a considerable amount of time to complete. Using certified installers allows us to focus on what we do best, which is providing expert sales advice, quick delivery turnaround and expert customer service. When we can focus on our core business and let our expert network of certified installers to handle more specialized installations, we can give our customers expert installation services and maximize efficient our efficiency leading to lower pricing for our customers.

 

Delivery by Motor Freight

If you do not live within 50 miles of a retail location, your product will be delivered by one of Grand’s approved freight partners (restrictions apply, call for more information). All third party deliveries are fully insured; however be sure to inspect your product carefully and note any damage before the carrier leaves your home, business or jobsite.

Scheduling: Typical lead time for in-stock merchandise is 5-7 business days from the order date. We will provide you with tracking numbers once your order has been shipped.

Fees: Delivery fees are applied on a per item basis. Small items such as DVD players, cables or replacement water filters will incur a $4.95 shipping and handling charge. For larger items, freight varies based on the type of product purchased. Freight for larger items will not exceed $99 for any electronics purchase, $149 for any appliance purchase and $199 for any furniture purchase. Premium, white glove delivery is available for most products. White glove delivery includes delivery to the intended location and removal of all packaging materials.
